See lots of dragsters wit wings...I'm new to dragster n wadit curious at wat MPH u see gains.. hate to spend money for looks...car was running 7.10s when I got her..not sure But should b bout the same.

They definetly help stability on the fast cars, aren't necessary on alot of slower cars.

IHRA says that for T/D faster than 190 MPH requires one of 360 SQ" or larger, mandatory.

Seems if it ran fine without a wing, you shouldn't need one. Is the car unstable at the top end?

Actually , 2014 IHRA rulebook says at 200mph it's required

200mph is about a 6.70... give or take.

Id suggest since you have to have an "Advanced ET" tag,,
And that is good to 6.50 ( i think)

That anything faster then a 7.50 should think about having one.

If you are going to put a wing on, get a currant rule book and do it right.

Are you going to run divisional or national events? If not, the wing wont be necessary unless you really step up. Then money is no longer an issue anyway.

It couldn't hurt to have a wing, it seems like you're right on the verge of needing one anyway.
